The LCTL Career Fair is hosted by WISLI, the Wisconsin Intensive Summer Language Institutes. WISLI is a unit in the Language Program Office (LPO) and is host to five intensive summer language institutes which offer high-quality courses in 30 less commonly taught languages. In Summer 2021, WISLI also introduced the Intensive Summer Multilanguage Seminar, an online self-directed study program to help serve students who are not already well-served by traditional summer language programs.

The Less Commonly Taught Languages career fair is sponsored by the Institute for Regional and International Studies NRC.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the Institute for Regional and International Studies National Resource Center (IRIS NRC) supports and enhances global awareness and inspires informed thinking about the complexities of our world. We provide resources and expertise to K-12 and post-secondary educators, students, and the community at large. Working in collaboration with campus, national, and international partners, IRIS NRC strives to put the Wisconsin Idea into action. We are committed to offering cross-regional and globally themed programming in an effort to understand our increasingly interconnected world.
WISLI would also like to thank our partners for supporting this event promoting career and professional development opportunities for less commonly taught language speakers.
